I’m an average lady who made a conscious decision to raise her own chickens despite an unfair town ordinance, thereby breaking the law. I will be chronicling my experiences of being an outlaw chicken raiser along with first time top-bar beekeeping. At the point of creating this blog, I have next to no knowledge of chicken raising, beekeeping or blogging. It is ironic that there is such a push to buy local produce etc, yet one can't raise a few hens in their yard. A niece of one of my friends is fighting city hall in her area to be able to keep hens. Good for you for going against the grain! (And I hope you don't get fined along the way!)
